These terms cover your use of the Screen Sage Chrome extension, screensage.app, and Screen Sage Pro, which are provided by Screen Sage ("we", "us"). By installing the extension or creating an account you agree to them.
Your account
You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for activity under it. Tell us right away at support@screensage.app if you think someone else has used it.
Free plan and trial
The free plan is available at no charge for as long as we offer it. New accounts receive one 7-day trial of Pro features. No payment details are needed for the trial, and it ends automatically.
Pro subscriptions
- Pro is billed in advance, monthly or yearly, at the price shown when you subscribe. Prices are in US dollars and may include tax where required.
- If you subscribe during your trial, your first charge happens when the trial would have ended.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account page; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- If you contact us within 14 days of a charge and ask for a refund, we'll refund that charge.
- If a payment fails we may pause Pro features until the payment method is updated.
- We'll give at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change affects your renewal.
Your content
Images, captures, and documents you mark up stay yours. They are processed on your device and we don't receive them. You are responsible for having the right to capture, edit, and share what you mark up, and for using blur or redaction where privacy requires it.
Acceptable use
Don't use Screen Sage to break the law, infringe others' rights, harass anyone, or create misleading copies of documents meant to deceive. Don't try to get around plan limits, reverse engineer the licensing service, or interfere with our servers.
Changes and availability
We work to keep Screen Sage running and improving, and we may change or remove features. If we stop offering Pro, we'll refund the unused portion of any prepaid period.
Disclaimers
Screen Sage is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't guarantee it will be error-free or that blur and redaction meet any specific legal or compliance standard. Check your exported files before sharing sensitive material.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to Screen Sage is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Ending these terms
You can stop using Screen Sage anytime by uninstalling the extension and, if you like, asking us to delete your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA.
